To all the board game enthusiasts out there, the new Board Game Club will be having an interest meeting this Thursday right after school in Ms. Dulaney's room, 1207.

Juniors and Seniors...ACT waivers have arrived. IF you qualify for free and/or reduced lunch, you can stop by Guidance to pick up a waiver from Mrs. Ramsey and take the ACT for free.

The Lady Rebel softball team would like to invite you to wear purple this Thursday, September 1 in support of our assistant coach, Sumer Pate and her daughter Pateleigh. Pateleigh will undergo open heart surgery in New Orleans on Thursday and we would like them to know how much her Rebel family loves and supports her. 

Current National Honor Society Members need to log into the NHS Google Classroom to vote for officers. Voting is today ONLY; the form will close at 4 PM. The officer results will be announced during the MANDATORY Fall meeting this Thursday. All NHS members must attend the Fall Meeting on Thursday at 6 o'clock in the Auditorium or attend the makeup meeting Friday at 7 AM in the auditorium lobby. See Mrs. Lovelady in 3205 if you have any questions. 

Teachers and Students:  If you are still holding on to any completed Health Clinic forms, please turn those into the clinic as soon as you can.  Students can’t be seen until the clinic processes those forms. 

Makeups for yearbook pictures will be on Thursday, September 8th. More information will be coming closer to the date.

Yearbooks are on sale now under online school payments on gorebs.org. The deadline to buy a yearbook is December 31. The cost of this year's yearbook is $75. Get yours today!

Students interested in the Amateur Radio Club can attend our first meeting of the year in the STEM building next Tuesday, Sept 6th after school. Find out what it takes to become a licensed ham operator and make radio contacts.

Football season is upon us! If you would like to cheer on the Rebels this season as a part of the Rebelnation student section, you may join for a one time fee of $3.00 payable to Mrs. Pickering in room 3103 OR If you purchase a $30 athletic pass, your Rebel Nation membership is covered!!! You are not required to pay the $3.00 membership. You are automatically a member! We hope to see you in the student section September 2nd to "paint out the panthers"

Any junior or senior interested in joining the WMHS History Club, should complete an online application.  The requirements for membership and the application link are on Mr. Aswell’s teacher page.  The deadline to apply is Friday September 9th.

Key Club is a service organization affiliated with Highland's K Kids, ULM's Circle K, and the Kiwanis club of the Greater Ouachita. Key Club applications are available outside room 3103 and fees can be paid online. Old members must also renew membership and dues. Our first meeting will be September 13th at 7:20am and 3:10pm in room 3103.

FSC will meet on Wednesday morning in the lobby of the new gym at 7:15 am. Everyone is welcome to join us. Also, t-shirts can be purchased for $10 using on the Online School Payments link found Gorebs.org.

Tennis tryouts have been moved to today at 3:30 pm. If you have any questions, please go see Coach Green in the old gym.

Coach Osborne will start a driver's ed class beginning on Thursday September 8th after school at 3:45.  Class days and times are on gorebs.org, they will vary each day.  Classes will meet upstairs in the football field house.  You can start signing up on gorebs.org today.  The cost is 295.00 and if you have any questions you can come see Coach Osborne in the old gym between 7:15 - 11:30.

4-H Club enrollment is now open! See outside Ms. Russell's room 6104 for information on joining. Enrollment ends September 14th.

All new and returning Junior Civitan Club members can pick up a membership packet during the club fair on Tuesday or Wednesday (at lunch on the Boardwalk). Forms will also be available outside room 6206 starting on Tuesday, August 30th.  If you can’t make the meeting on Tuesday, it’s ok. Membership forms AND Fees are due by September 9th. See Mrs Beach if you have any questions.

Athletic passes are good for all regular season home games for the amazing low price of $30. Plus you will be allowed in the Rebel Nation student section. Athletic passes are now on sale in Coach Arledge's room 3102 and Coach McDuffie's room 5207. Or you can buy them online. 

West Monroe High School will administer the ASVAB on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Sign up for this FREE test with your U.S. History teacher by Friday, September 9 th.  Seniors who did not test last year or would like to retest may do so. Seniors should sign up with Mrs. Williams by Friday, September 9th, or with any U.S. History teacher.

Students interested in joining Student Diversity League can fill out an application with Mrs. Anders in room 4204. Applications are due by September 4th and dues must be paid by September 16th in order to receive a club t-shirt.
